The important thing here is that you can type in a warning description, which is very powerful.

If you are looking for a RAW converter that can process the latest Fujifilm line of X-Trans sensors, then you probably should hunt for a different tool. Lightroom can’t compete with this respect, as long as Fujifilm doesn’t choose to improve its own raw converter. My question is still the same as before – why hasn’t Fujifilm? Can’t they see the huge potential in the eyes of their users, who are already switching to Fujifilm – without an incentive? I understand that they are commited to a different path, which is fine if it’s mutually beneficial. But if the new X-Trans sensors are the future of Fujifilm, shouldn’t they be helping Adobe out? I don’t think that Fujifilm doesn’t want adobe in the picture, rather the other way around. I understand that there is a lot of competition and it’s not like adobe has tremendous amounts to work with. If that’s the case, I would think that Fujifilm would rather not spoonfeed them. I know that Fujifilm has done some of its own development and I am happy for that. So why not give them the assistance they deserve? As is the case with most enterprises, sometimes a little support goes a long way.
